2007 Accounts: Turnover increased by 12.5% to 810 million € - Häfele Group experiences two-figure growth

(25/02/2008) The Nagold-based international Häfele Group for furniture and hardware fittings and electronic locking systems achieved turnover of 810 million € in 2007 (compared to 720 million € in the previous year), representing an increase of 12.5 %.

The German parent company grew by 10.7 %. The 32 independent foreign subsidiaries experienced growth of 13.2%. 73% of the Häfele Group’s turnover is achieved abroad. The newest subsidiary in Vietnam started up in 2007, meaning that Häfele is represented in all of the most important countries in the Asian growth market.

The company now employs 4,080 people, an increase of 13 %. The Nagold parent company took on an additional 55 employees.

Project business has made an important contribution to the growth of the Häfele Group. Consistent orientation of sales and marketing activities to customer target groups has also had a beneficial effect.
The company is anticipating two-figure growth again within the group in 2008.
A considerable amount of money is going to be invested this year: The parent company in Nagold alone is planning to invest about 15 million €,
11 million € of which will be used to extend the logistics centre.
