New product range: Nano-technology from Häfele: Sealing effect prevents soiling

(24/11/2006) They may be microscopic, but they are extremely resistant to any form of dirt! Nano-particles seal surfaces of all kinds, make the surface as smooth as glass and therefore prevent dirt from adhering to the surface. Häfele has now added Nano cleaning and sealing products to its product range, and is making these labour-saving products available to its partners.

Nano particles are just a few millionths of a millimetre in size. Applied extremely thinly to a surface, they form a tough protective coating that lasts for up to a year. All that you need for "occasional cleaning" is water and a soft cloth, since dust and dirt particles are much easier to remove from the super-smooth surface. Not only does this save time, but it reduces the amount of domestic cleaning materials that are needed, therefore saving money.

Häfele Nano products consist of natural and (normal commercial) special chemical ingredients. They are perfectly harmless and do not attack the surface, regardless of whether it is glass, stone or textile. Häfele Nano products can also be used without hesitation in domestic and large-scale kitchens - "food safe" certification has been applied for.

 

Häfele recommends the use of Nano pre-cleaner for giving the surfaces a thorough cleaning and to improve the effect of the sealing. This is simply sprayed on and removes all traces of dust and dirt. The Nano sealing products are specially designed for the following surfaces and materials: Glass and ceramics, plastics, stainless steel, textiles and leather, natural stone with a smooth surface and stone with an open-pored surface.

The sealing products also go an extremely long way: A small 125 ml bottle is sufficient for a surface measuring approximately 25 to 30 square metres on glass, ceramics, stainless steel and plastic. The liquid is applied to the surface that is being treated with a cloth, and evenly distributed. The sealing product is sprayed onto absorbent materials such as textile, leather and stone. An area of up to 10 square metres can be sealed with a 125 ml bottle.
